Year 3 Events

14/02/2020 - Science Day

The children enjoyed Science Day. They thought about plastic pollution and what it means. The children brought a yoghurt pot in from home so they could reuse it to plant cress seeds in them.


06/02/2020 - Grandparent's Morning

Year 3 had their Grandparent’s Morning. They enjoyed spending time with their grandparent to complete their mosaic for their frames.

15/01/2020 - Class 7's Worship

At the beginning of this term, Class 7 performed their class worship to the school and their family and friends. They talked about what they have learnt so far in Year 3 and how they show the rainbow value cooperation in a lot of the lessons.


06/12/19 - A Magical Christmas Journey

The children performed their dress rehearsal of the production to the school. They thoroughly enjoyed it and they are looking forward to performing it to their family on Tuesday 10th December and Friday 13th December.

15/11/19 - Children in Need

The children wore non-uniform and donated money for Children in Need. We completed 8-minute challenge activities led by Joe Wicks for Children in Need. The children thoroughly enjoyed it.

12/11/19 - Stonehenge Trip

Class 7 and 8 went on a school trip to Stonehenge. The children looked at how Stonehenge was built, how the stones were moved back in the Stone Age, they looked at artefacts and dressed up in Stone Age clothes. They had a great time and they even got to walk around Stonehenge and see it from different angles.

11/10/19 - The Stone Age

Year 3 have been exploring The Stone Age. As part of this topic, we have been exploring Stone Age Jewellery. They designed their necklaces based on 3D shapes and they made the beads out of clay. They all looked amazing and we have attached some lovely images below:


In year 3 the children from Holy Trinity have been exploring the story of creation. The children based their worship to parents on this and created some beautiful pieces of art work.
