Each year we publish a 'Guidelines for Parents' document which goes to every family in the school. This contains useful information about the school. Please click on the link below to download this document.
We are currently updating our generic prospectus which will be published here as soon as it is available.
The term dates and INSET days are now available from our term dates and attendance page.
Children at Holy Trinity Church School are expected to attend every day when the school is in session, as long as they are fit and healthy enough to do so. We believe that the most important factor in promoting good attendance is the development of positive attitudes towards school. To this end we strive to work in partnership with parents, ensuring our school is a happy and rewarding experience for all children.
If your child is unable to attend school because of illness, please telephone the school. We have an answer phone system for reporting absences, alternatively, you can speak with a member of the Office Team. Children who arrive or leave school during the school day must be signed in/out at the School Office by a parent/carer.
Please inform the school in advance if your child needs to attend a medical appointment during the school day.
We are unable to authorise leave in term time except in exceptional circumstances. If there are exceptional circumstances and you feel that you need to take your child away from their learning during the school term, a term-time leave request application needs to be completed and returned to the School Office in advance of the leave dates. This will then be considered by the Head Teacher and you will receive an outcome of this consideration as soon as possible.
Holy Trinity Church School offers hot meals across the whole school. Key Stage 1 children are entitled to these meals at no charge, and for Key Stage 2 children, hot meals are £2.40 per day.
Menus run on a three weekly cycle, and families select from up to three choices of main meals, and two choices of pudding per day. School staff ensure the children are given the correct meal choice each day, using a system of coloured wristbands.
Children who have specific dietary needs are catered for on an individual basis. The Office Team are happy to help with any matters to do with menu choices and support parents when using our Online ordering system. Please do ask as we are always very happy to help in any way we can!
Meals are provided by Taylor Shaw, based in Westfield Academy. Meals are transported to the school every day and served from our purpose-built 'receiving' kitchen. Staff from Taylor Shaw serve the food to the children and manage all aspects of food hygiene and health and safety. School staff support the children as they eat their meals.
Allergen Information is provided by Taylor Shaw and is available by downloading the document below.
All meals are booked and paid for through our online payment system. The link to this site can be found on the homepage of our website (by clicking Holy Trinity Online Payments). Meals will be available to book in advance.
We are pleased to be able to offer the facility of a Breakfast Club each morning. The club is held in the Hall of the Trinity Building at the school. It runs from 7.45am to the start of the school day.
The club is run by six members of schools staff, some of whom also work in other roles within the school. They liaise with the school each day and follow school policies, procedures and guidelines.
Breakfast consists of a choice of cereals, toast, fruit, yoghurts, and drinks. The cost is £4.25 per session, including breakfast.
Please contact the school office to find out how to book a Breakfast club place.
