There are 14 classes at Holy Trinity, and we currently operate a two-form entry system - two classes per year group. Classes are arranged into 'teams', and staff work together within these teams to ensure continuity and progression in learning for all children.
As a 'whole-school' we have developed our approach to Learning, using current research and our own monitoring and evaluation systems. The school is reviewed and challenged by an external Advisor on a termly basis, affirming the Self-Evaluation undertaken by the Leadership Team and the Governors of the school.
We are very proud of our UPLIFT philosophy - a tailored learning approach which addresses the learning rate and needs of ALL children in the class. Our priority is 'Quality First' Teaching where the Teacher is responding to the needs of each and every child in their class on a daily, lesson by lesson basis. A summary of this approach was shared with parents at the Curriculum Meetings in September, and further information about his approach can be given through contacting Mr Adam Beauford at the school.
Please refer to the Year Group Pages for important information for your child's class, including homework routines.
